Dental Implants

When a patient is faced with the unfortunate loss of a tooth, Dr. Hicks can provide peace of mind in replacing missing teeth with dental implants. Dental implants are surgically placed in the jaw by our team of specialists and then restored in our office with crowns, bridges, or dentures to restore the patient’s occlusion. Dental implants are the most natural and long-term tooth replacement option available and have the added health benefit of bone preservation.

Crowns

Crowns are restorations that are effective in restoring a tooth to its original shape, size, and function after it has become damaged or failed to properly develop. Crowns are made using several different materials including all porcelain/ceramic crowns (E-Max), Zirconia crowns, and Metals (gold alloy). When treatment planning a crown, Dr. Hicks will carefully evaluate your surrounding teeth and tissue to recommend the best material for the long term health of your smile.

Fill in the Gap with a Bridge

When a patient is not a candidate for a dental implant, a bridge may be recommended. Bridges are permanent restorations used to replace a missing tooth, bonding an artificial tooth (the pontic) with crowns placed on the adjacent teeth(abutments). Bridges can also be placed on implants to restore areas missing multiple teeth.
