Meet Dr. Katie Hicks

Dr. Katie V. Hicks is a proud native Tucsonan! After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 2003, she moved to Omaha, NE to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation from Creighton in 2007, Dr. Hicks was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society, as well as Alpha Sigma Nu, a national Jesuit honor society. She also became a certified Invisalign provider in the fall of 2007 and has enjoyed treating many patients with this clear alternative to traditional braces. Dr. Hicks was in private practice in Omaha, NE until returning to Tucson in 2013. She enjoys providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on cosmetic as well as pediatric dentistry. Her patients enjoy her compassionate chair side manner, upbeat personality, and dedication to excellence. Dr. Hicks and her husband, Darren, were married in 2008 here in Tucson and have two boys and one baby girl. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting outdoors, and cheering on The Arizona Wildcats!

Meet Dr. Sarah Picard

Dr. Sarah Picard was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota. Her love for dentistry began at a very young age. In preparation to achieve her lifelong goal of becoming a dentist she received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse (Go Badgers!) in biomedical sciences. Dr. Picard strongly believes in treating all of her patients like family. She is committed to providing the best possible treatment options for each of her patients and strives to embody compassion, honesty, and conservatism. You will find comfort in her sense of humor, positive attitude, and her ability to make patients feel relaxed and less anxious or fearful.

Dr. Picard has always been passionate about community involvement and service work. She has been involved in Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy programs, Special Olympics, TeamSmile, and Vida Volunteer. She has come to love Tucson (and our Wildcats) and looks forward to serving the Tucson community in future outreach events.
